Executes various technical tasks and responsibilities within field operations. Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems. Ensures the functionality and reliability of various technologies. Key duties include conducting site surveys, configuring hardware and software, testing systems for proper operation, and providing technical support to customers. Field Technicians must possess strong problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Qualifications
Clearance/Citizen Type:
ACTIVE TOP SECRET Clearance is REQUIRED. Applicants may be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship. Education:
HS diploma or GED with Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program; plus an additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities. Preferred Qualifications:
Network - Cisco, Dell, HP; ACS - Software House, Shlage, Von Duprin, Kantech, Locknetics, Securiton, Bosch; IDS - Optex, AD Pro, Bosch, Honeywell, Sentrol, Optex; VMS - Bosch, Axis, Verint/Intellicene; Duress/Emergency/Intercom - Invovonics, Airphone, Norcon, Stentofon; Screening - Leidos, Smiths Detection, Helfenbein, CEIA, Rapiscan, Gatekeeper; 3 years experience in electronic security systems; OSHA 30 certification Required Progressive Experience:
6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs; Strong oral, written and presentation skills; Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams; Time management and organization skills; Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills (a plus); Requires a valid driver's license and may require use of a company vehicle; Acceptable driving record per policy.
