Overview

The Interim Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department, managing nursing staff, ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulations, and improving patient care services. Daily tasks will include infection control, developing and implementing nursing policies, supervising clinical operations, and coordinating long-term care programming. The Interim Director of Nursing will also collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care is delivered. Responsibilities
Oversee the nursing department and nursing staff; ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations and improvements to patient care services. Perform daily tasks including infection control, developing and implementing nursing policies, supervising clinical operations, and coordinating long-term care programming. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care is delivered. Qualifications
Proven experience in nursing management. Strong knowledge of infection control practices and medicine. Experience in long-term care. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Current RN license and a Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Nursing or related field.
