As a Gartner Analyst, you will create and advise on a portfolio of Gartner research, communicate it to clients and support sales in new sales and client retention by demonstrating expert knowledge in this subject area with potential clients. Your research portfolio will provide insight, predictions and actionable advice to clients around artificial intelligence (AI) and sales technology and operations.
As part of Gartner's Sales Business, Technology and Insight practice, you'll help B2B Chief Sales Officers (CSOs) and sales leaders in developing AI strategies for sales and revops organizations, selecting and evaluating AI technologies and implementing and scaling AI in their organizations.
Who you are:
Developed an AI strategy or key decisions for a B2B sales organization
Experience in evaluating and selecting AI-driven technology for B2B sales organizations
Demonstrated ability to determine the best AI use cases to pursue in support of sales strategy
Implementation of AI technology within a sales organization or product
Oversight of or familiarity with intelligent, agentic AI systems that can make decisions, adapt, and perform autonomous tasks, such as generating personalized outreach emails or providing real-time insights to sales reps
What you'll do:
Support best practices and inspire by detecting the emerging next practices and trends in your AI field of research.
Understand critical questions facing Gartner clients and craft appropriate research methods to address them.
Create and deliver high-value presentations off the back of the body of research.
Collaborate and conduct research and produce innovative and thought-leading research analysis.
Assist the commercial organization in engaging both clients and prospects by demonstrating expert knowledge in this subject area with potential clients.
Provide high-quality and timely research peer review.
Lead or participate in research community meetings to discuss research issues and collaborate effectively with peers.
What you'll need:
12+ years of experience in sales strategy, operations and/or technology, with ownership of AI strategy and implementation
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred
Strong business acumen
Ability to connect commercial strategy to AI opportunity and demonstrated experience in implementing AI initiatives.
Strong critical reasoning skills focused on diagnosing problems and framing effective solutions that are pragmatic and provocative targeting most senior sales executive role.
Research and organize disparate information to answer new and emerging questions.
Stellar writing and verbal communication skills, notably the ability to explain complex concepts both concisely and simply and engage clients and respond adeptly to questions.
Experience in presenting to clients at events and conferences, performing workshops and briefings.
Impeccable time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Ability to conduct occasional travel, regionally and globally.
Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 152,000 USD - 190,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
