Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Gastroenterology team.

Flexible Schedules: Option for 12-hour shifts or 8-hour shifts No Call Requirements – enjoy your personal time without after-hours interruptions Multi-Site Role: Work between our Joliet location and Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside experienced gastroenterologists and support staff State-of-the-Art Facilities with advanced GI diagnostic and treatment capabilities Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive GI care alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff. Conduct initial assessments, follow-ups, and manage inpatient consults and outpatient follow-up visits. Assist with procedures and ensure continuity of care. Collaborate closely with attending gastroenterologists to optimize patient outcomes. Participate in care coordination, documentation, and patient education. Requirements:
Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Illinois. Strongly preferred: 1+ year of experience in Gastroenterology or inpatient medicine. Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive medical team. EMR proficiency (experience with Epic is a plus).
