Territory Sales Professional - Chicago (MENARDS)
Cabinetworks Group is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to promote Cardell & Medallion Cabinetry to Menards stores in the Chicago, IL area. The role develops and grows sales within a designated region to meet and exceed projections for overall sales and store growth.
Responsibilities
Build and leverage business relationships with store personnel to promote sales and growth
Conduct regular store visits as determined by the Regional Sales Manager
Influence store personnel to offer Cabinetworks Group products to their customers
Train and support store personnel on Cardell & Medallion Cabinetry brands and programs, including in-store and off-site training on marketing programs and promotions
Address product, warranty and service issues and communicate resolutions with all parties
Maintain and update showroom display presence
Analyze sales metrics and develop tactical and strategic plans to meet or exceed goals
Review monthly budgets and provide quarterly account business plans
Essential Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years of selling experience with a minimum of a high school diploma or GED
2+ years of outside sales experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong conflict resolution, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build positive partnerships and collaborate with departments, cross-functional teams, and customers
Excellent project management, budgeting, and deadline orientation
Excellent organizational skills, multi-tasking, and prioritization
Problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently with limited daily management
Ability to travel daily within the assigned region and quarterly beyond the region
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
4 years of sales or building materials industry experience
Ability to read and understand sales reports
20/20 Design software experience
Ability to read blueprints and layouts
Familiarity with the cabinet industry
Prior trim carpentry and/or kitchen installation/design experience
Starting at
$55,000 annually , commensurate with experience, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus program.
