MRI Technologist PRN — AdventHealth East Orlando Location: Orlando, Florida Schedule: PRN 24/7; Shift: Days 10 to 12 Hour Shifts Responsibilities
Imaging both neuro and body MRI scans on patients from neonate to geriatric, adhering to age-specific FH parameters. Transmitting images for diagnostic interpretation and updating the hospital information system with exam progress. Maintain outstanding customer service and uphold respectful relationships with all patients and staff. Value to the Team
Demonstrates Florida Hospitals core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship and Teamwork. Performs MRI exams using FH protocols and properly identifies patients prior to exams; educates patients about the exam. Completes exams in a timely manner, maintains workflow, and manages post-exam responsibilities including transportation and discharge of outpatients. Operates MRI equipment, injectors, and monitors safely; adapts protocols for patients of all ages as needed. Qualifications
Completion of an ARMRIT Accredited MRI Program Prior CT experience MR ARDMS or ARRT (Magnetic Resonance) ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARMRIT - Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist BCLS - Basic Life Support Benefits
