Be among the first 25 applicants This full-time Nurse Manager position is at Hampton Behavioral Health Center, offering inpatient and outpatient treatment for adolescents, adults, dually diagnosed individuals and older adults. The center provides Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) on both inpatient and outpatient bases. The main campus is in Westampton Township, New Jersey, with a 120-bed inpatient facility and Hampton Counseling Center for Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) services. Satellite outpatient locations are in Cherry Hill and Camden County. Hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Under the supervision of the DON, the nurse manager will oversee patient care on assigned unit(s) to ensure optimum quality care by nursing staff on a 24-hour basis. Responsibilities

Monitor the delivery of patient care. Collaborate with Medical Staff and Department Managers to meet the needs of the total service. Foster and promote open communications. Assist in the assessment of potential new patient referrals. When the Patient Advocate is unavailable, facilitate resolution of complaints or grievances by patients and visitors in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements. Make decisions related to the structure, coordination and resources required to deliver cost-effective professional nursing care 24 hours per day. Support Performance Improvement activities that improve the overall efficiency of the nursing department. Participate in hiring, promotion, discipline and evaluation of unit staff, as well as orientation and ongoing educational development of unit staff. Apply knowledge of growth and development to assess patients’ age-specific needs and provide age-appropriate care. Benefit Highlights

Job Requirements: Licensed in New Jersey as a Registered Nurse. Minimum of three years of hospital-based nursing. Minimum of two years of psychiatric nursing experience. BSN or BS in related health field. Will consider applicants in the active process of obtaining a bachelor's degree with employment experience. Past supervisory experience of staff. Current BLS certification. Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others’ activities with leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment. Demonstrates progressive roles in nursing leadership. EEO Statement
