Overview Goodwin Home Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to work 40 hours weekly with daytime hours. You will deliver high-quality skilled home health nursing services to seniors living in their homes across Northern Virginia (counties including Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Prince William and Loudoun). Responsibilities
Perform and document OASIS as required.
Conduct detailed assessments and develop patient-specific Plans of Care in accordance with agency policy.
Provide direct nursing care in a Home Health setting under a physician’s order.
Communicate with the care team regarding the Plan of Care and collaborate for optimal outcomes.
Provide timely and accurate treatment notes and documentation to referring physicians per policy.
Assist with discharge planning and prepare patients, family, and team members for discharge as appropriate.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by the state board of nursing.
At least one year of acute care experience; Home Health experience preferred.
Current CPR certification.
Driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
