Oversees and provides educational support for the Peri-Operative areas. Coordinates new employee orientation. Develops clinical orientation pathways and timelines. Mentors and monitors the progress of new and existing employees, providing constructive feedback. Maintains documentation of education records, including competencies, progress, and goal setting. Provides ongoing development and continuing education. Fosters inclusivity through a multi-disciplinary approach. Completes introductory evaluations promptly. Adheres to policies and procedures, serving as a resource for team members. Participates in local and system-wide education initiatives, peri-op fellowship programs, and policy development following AORN standards. Qualifications
BSN required BLS certification required CNOR certification required Valid New Jersey Nursing License Minimum 5 years of current OR clinical experience Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree (preferred) Experience in OR Education (strongly preferred) About Atlantic Health System
