Epic Hospital Billing Analyst - Specialist at UChicago Medicine. This is a remote, work-from-home opportunity with the IT Clinical Applications department. Based on user needs and industry requirements, the Epic Hospital Billing Analyst Specialist formulates and defines system scope and objectives. Base pay range provided by the employer: $122,800.00/yr - $163,700.00/yr. Responsibilities
Provides technical guidance on complex projects Documents requirements in standard format Recommends technology to solve complex business problems Develops new or revises existing system logic or configuration Serves as team leader for projects with moderate budgets and mentors less experienced BAA analysts Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in healthcare, business management or information systems Epic Resolute Hospital Billing certification Experience managing integrated third-party systems with Epic Strong grounding in information systems and ability to link user needs to system enablers Demonstrated expertise in a specialized area of information systems software implementation Ability to prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of working with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams, including remote teams Proven ability to manage multiple requests and tasks Experience in business process mapping and defining requirements with software development methodologies Ability to correlate business, functional, and technical requirements Strong functional IT and business background; solid problem-solving skills Ability to develop presentations for project work and facilitate meetings with diverse participants Professional demeanor under normal and pressure situations Minimum 10 years of experience with information system software solutions Preferred Qualifications
