Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced ENT Consultant to join our forward-thinking and collaborative team based across Somerset. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped department delivering a wide range of diagnostic imaging and interventional services. The agreed post is for one year with a view to a substantive agreement if both parties mutually agree.
This post offers a 10 PA job plan with a flexible working structure, supported professional activities, and a strong commitment to education, research, and clinical governance. You'll be expected to contribute to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, audit and service development initiatives, and provide high-quality patient care.

Main duties of the job
Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of all patients presenting to the Hospital. To provide and support colleagues with the management of all adult and paediatric patients presenting with ENT conditions. To develop close links with the ENT Team and undertake the responsibilities of outpatient ENT Clinics. Teaching and training of intermediate grade and, junior medical staff, medical students and ENT Nursing Staff. To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and audit.
