FOOD TOXICOLOGIST

As the ideal candidate, you’ll be responsible for determining safe exposure levels of food colors and extracts, while leading the charge in filing and securing approval for Color Additive Petitions with the U.S. FDA. You’ll have the chance to make a direct impact on the industry through

Strong knowledge of toxicology principles Excellent research and analytical skills A passion for making a difference in food safety regulations Responsibilities:

Design and conduct experiments to assess the toxic effects of substances and perform risk assessments. Analyze biological samples for toxins and conduct laboratory tests like chromatography and mass spectrometry. Prepare detailed reports, scientific papers, and advise on safe exposure levels. Stay current with toxicology research and collaborate with scientists to interpret data. Advise regulatory bodies, educate the public, and provide expert testimony in legal cases. Requirements:

PhD in Toxicology or related field with 10+ years' experience in the food industry. Proficient in data analysis, statistical software, and research techniques. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage changing priorities. Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of toxicology principles, lab safety procedures, and regulations. What We Offer:
