Overview

Senior Network Administrator/Network Operations Lead role at SOSi. Based at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam in Honolulu, Hawaii. Support IT solutions for USINDOPACOM and over 5,000 mission-critical users across the Pacific theatre. Responsibilities

Identify and prioritize network assignments. Coordinate internal and external resources for network-related initiatives. Communicate and manage network-related responsibilities to the team. Participate in and provide feedback on network-related special projects. Maintain awareness of operational status of networks and related effects. Communicate status and changes, and respond to information requests (RFIs) to leadership, the Enterprise Service Desk (ESD), and interested parties. Ensure incidents regarding network infrastructure and related core services are tracked and resolved. Act as point of incident escalation and coverage; manage communication, correction, and response. Evaluate new services, technologies, software, tools, and devices that may improve monitoring and remediation of performance concerns. Provide supervisory and administrative oversight of managed personnel. Recruit, onboard, direct, train, and assess network administrators, analysts, and technicians. Validate SOPs and TTPs for current knowledge of relevant network technologies. Regularly collect and summarize network accomplishments, issues, and concerns. Configure and maintain Cisco routers/switches/ASAs, Taclane encryption devices, and Cisco VoIP systems to support efficient data flow following SOPs and TTPs. Implement and oversee CSfC and Taclane encryption methods to protect sensitive data. Maintain VDI environments and secure user access. Manage Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems, and other Cisco VoIP systems to ensure reliable communication services. Collaborate with Cross-Domain Solutions teams to facilitate secure information sharing across security domains. Engage with points of contact (POCs) and customers to understand network needs and provide solutions, including proposals, solution diagrams, and implementation timelines. Follow guidance from the Operations Manager and adhere to established standards and procedures for network administration. Participate in related solution technologies and special projects as required. Maintain active in-scope TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Networking, or related field; or 8+ years of network administration experience. DoD 8570 IAT-II compliant (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP). Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Expertise in Cisco routers, switches, ASA, Palo Alto firewalls, CSfC, Taclane encryption methods, VDI, Cross-Domain Solutions, CUCM, and VTCs. Knowledge of network security best practices and compliance standards including STIGs. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot network issues. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing requirements, and communicate effectively with POCs and customers. Able to support 24/7 operations (including exercises) when necessary. Ability to follow instructions and work independently and in a distributed team environment. Preferred Qualifications

IT certifications related to Cisco and network security (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, ITIL). Familiarity with DoD protocols and procedures. Experience with virtual infrastructure, VDI/thin-client, and VoIP deployments. Knowledge of EverFox, Juniper, and other network technologies. Proficiency with Help Desk and software applications (Jira, ServiceNow, Remedy). Awareness of Command and Control (C2) applications. Experience with ITIL framework and practices (Change, Configuration, Incident, Capacity). Customer-service oriented with willingness to participate and assist. Working conditions are normal for an office environment; fast-paced, deadline-oriented. May require non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends. Working at SOSi
