The Cost Estimator - Analyst will support a broad range of program, acquisition, and financial support capabilities to execute effective and responsive integrated program management of space-related research, development, production, and lifecycle acquisition activities. The successful candidate will provide cost, estimation and acquisition program support to Government customers in the VA, MD, DC metro area. Qualifications And Education Requirements

Bachelor\'s Degree (or higher) in finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, computer science or a comparable STEM degree US Citizen with an Active Secret clearance required Experience supporting federal government programs Proficiency with cost estimation, analysis and modeling (e.g., ACEIT, USCM, SEER, MS Office, PRICE & SMC/Industry standard models) Demonstrated expertise in complex information technologies, simulations, models, operations, and research tools, advising decision makers on cost issues Ability to work in a dynamic environment and coordinate multiple assignments Analytical, assertive, creative, and effective problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently Description of Duties

Provide cost estimating-analysis support across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle (including software cost estimating); prepare program cost analysis requirements documents, historical data cost analysis, market surveys, economic analyses, cost policy reviews, Total Ownership Cost analyses, and Life Cycle Cost evaluations Analyze cost data and estimates from support contractors, including ECPs, WBS, and Basis of Estimates to ensure consistency with Government procedures; assist in developing and modifying program WBS and verify compliance with requirements Apply program management and systems engineering experience to develop solutions for customer issues Develop strategic briefings and reports summarizing technical/programmatic issues, financial constraints, and accomplishments Manage information requests, inquiries, and tasks through to completion Conduct research and analysis to summarize issues, incorporate policy guidance, and provide recommendations and potential courses of action Benefits and Company Information
