Director of Finance

data center and technology infrastructure company
based in the Dallas Area. This position will lead financial modeling and strategic analysis efforts to drive decision-making for large-scale investments, financing strategies, and long-term growth initiatives. Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of dynamic three-statement financial models to assess business performance, strategic investments, and long-term growth opportunities. Translate key operational data center metrics—such as utilization rates, bookings, and pricing—into actionable financial forecasts. Partner with senior executives on capital allocation strategies, including market expansion, acquisitions, and financing initiatives. Conduct valuation analyses including DCF, comparable transactions, and scenario modeling to guide investment decisions. Support strategic planning efforts by evaluating ROI, IRR, and payback periods for data center expansions and infrastructure investments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in operations, development, and sales to align financial models with pipeline and cost assumptions. Prepare board and investor materials to communicate company performance and financial outlook. Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team focused on modeling, forecasting, and decision support. Drive continuous improvement in financial planning processes, tools, and reporting standards. Client Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or CPA highly preferred. At least 7–10 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, or private equity. Exceptional financial modeling and analytical abilities with a strong command of Excel and valuation methodologies. Proven success in supporting large-scale capital investment and M&A activities. Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership and investors. Experience with ERP and financial systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Salesforce, along with BI tools. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to guide a high-performing finance team.
