Senior Tax Accountant role at Dolby Laboratories. The Senior Tax Accountant will assist the Domestic Tax Director to ensure compliance with tax regulations and mandated laws in an accurate and timely fashion. The position covers all aspects of Dolby income tax compliance, including federal, state and foreign taxes. Dolby offers a flexible work approach to support how you work best. Responsibilities
Prepare corporate and partnership Federal and State Income Tax Returns. Work with service provider for timely filing of tax returns. Prepare quarterly estimates and extensions. Prepare tax return workpapers and account reconciliations. Prepare apportionment factors and state tax adjustments. Prepare and/or review fixed assets computations for all areas of tax. Assist with federal & state income tax audits. Research federal and state tax issues. Assist with quarterly and yearly tax provisions. Requirements
BS in Accounting or Finance. CPA and/or MS Taxation 4-7 years of experience with a mix of public accounting and industry. Knowledge of SAP financial applications. Knowledge of ONESOURCE and CorpTax, a plus Experience with implementing and using tax technology tools a plus Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI Experience or knowledge of domestic indirect tax a plus Ability to prepare work accurately and timely with attention to details Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a team environment. Experience working in a dispersed organization. Hybrid work schedule Minimal business travel - approximately 5-10% Location & Compensation
The Atlanta Area base salary range for this full-time position is $87,200 - $126,400, plus bonus, benefits, and possibly equity. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and individual pay depends on factors such as location, skills, experience, and market demand.
