Role Description
SleepImage is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join our growing team in Denver, CO. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting operations, and supporting process improvements that help us scale efficiently. Key Responsibilities
Record revenues, expenses, and other financial transactions with accuracy and timeliness. Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions. Process and organize incoming mail, scanning, photocopying, and filing financial documents. Assist with inventory management, reconciliations, and reporting. Communicate with vendors and customers regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries. Reconcile daily customer credit card payments with bank activity. Review and reconcile employee expense reports and company credit card activity. Support sales tax tracking, calculation, and troubleshooting. Assist with month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries. Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper handling of all sensitive financial data. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-track preferred). 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a growing or technology-driven environment. Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Experience with inventory and/or manufacturing accounting is a plus. Why SleepImage?
