What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Research and identify potential school and district partners, initiating outreach through calls, emails, and social media
Qualify prospects and set up appointments for Account Managers based on their needs and interests
Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote the value of Scholastic Reading Events
Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track progress toward sales goals
Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve sales techniques
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, event management, or customer service
Proficiency with MS Office and experience using Sales Automation or CRM software
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
Outstanding interpersonal skills for building relationships with customers and team members
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Familiarity with children's literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
Proven leadership abilities in sales environments
Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy execution
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
