We are seeking an experienced
Foodservice Sales Manager
to lead sales efforts and expand our innovative plant-based foodtech company's product presence in the foodservice market. This primarily field-based role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Seattle area, including distributors, operators, and decision-makers in the foodservice sector. Key Responsibilities: Sales Management:
Manage the sales funnel from lead generation to closing, ensuring consistent pipeline progress. Business Development:
Develop new industry connections with decision-makers in restaurants, hospitality, and institutional foodservice. Distributor Partnerships:
Collaborate with existing distributors and onboard new partners to expand market reach. Customer Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with foodservice stakeholders, including operators and brokers. Sales Strategy Execution:
Implement strategies to increase brand awareness, drive sales, and meet business growth goals. Market & Competitor Analysis:
Monitor market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities. CRM & Reporting:
Use CRM systems for sales tracking and provide regular performance updates. Industry Representation:
Attend trade shows and industry events to enhance brand visibility and network with key opinion leaders. Marketing Collaboration:
Coordinate with marketing teams to align sales activities with promotional campaigns. Qualifications: Proven Foodservice Sales Experience:
At least 2 years of success in foodservice sales, business development, or account management, working directly with operators, distributors, and brokers. Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of the foodservice sector, including restaurant chains, hospitality, and institutional catering. Established Network:
Existing relationships with foodservice operators, distributors, and decision-makers. Field-Based Sales Experience:
Comfortable working outside an office, with frequent client visits and travel within the territory. Proactive Approach:
Results-driven, able to take initiative and deliver growth. Startup Mindset:
Adaptable to a dynamic environment with entrepreneurial problem-solving skills. Communication & Presentation Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of delivering compelling presentations. Data-Driven:
Proficient in CRM tools and Excel for tracking and reporting sales metrics. Travel Flexibility:
Willing to travel frequently within the region for client meetings and industry events.
