Territory Sales Manager - Food Packaging
Our client is seeking a skilled and high-performing Territory Sales Manager with a proven track record of delivering results to drive sales growth for their food packaging portfolio. The successful candidate will have experience selling packaging solutions into key market verticals. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a funnel of opportunities and developing and executing sales plans through channel partners and direct sales to support profitable growth goals. This position is remote, must be located in Florida and reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities in the food packaging market.
Deepen existing customer relationships across various industries.
Acquire knowledge of current products and upcoming product lines.
Promote and sell product lines; create strategies to expand the customer base.
Develop and execute a national penetration plan.
Support customer related projects from concept to completion.
Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to meet and exceed sales goals.
Gather relevant information for effective product sales.
Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
Continuously learn and expand knowledge across all product lines.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in the food packaging market or related field.
Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related discipline preferred.
Self-starter mentality with teamwork skills.
Strong communication skills for articulating technical information.
Proven history of establishing relationships that lead to financial growth.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time including ground and air transportation.
Strong negotiating skills with proven ability to close contracts.
Require strong time management skills and planning.
Tenacious and Resilient.
