As a member of the CIBC Chicago Private Banking team, you’ll work closely with our Private Bankers to deliver a full-service experience to our high-net-worth clients. As a Client Service Advisor, you’ll foster strong relationships with clients, support their banking and financial needs, and provide an exceptional client experience. You’ll manage administrative tasks, prepare for client meetings, assist with transaction processing, and proactively follow up to ensure satisfaction. You’ll have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in private banking and advance your career within CIBC’s dynamic environment. Work arrangement: you’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid arrangement, spending 1-3 days per week on-site, with other days remote. How You’ll Succeed
Client engagement – Deliver superior service by maintaining active account files, preparing reports and presentations, and responding to client inquiries with professionalism. Understand client needs and recommend solutions, ensuring interactions reflect that CIBC listens and cares about clients’ goals. Relationship building – Partner with Private Bankers to support portfolio management and business development. Engage in outreach, uncover new opportunities, and ensure clients feel valued and connected to the right specialists. Leveraging technology – Accurately process client transactions, maintain documentation, and stay informed of policy changes. Use available technology to streamline tasks and enhance the client experience. Who You Are

You have a minimum of 5 years financial industry experience and/or a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CFP are strong assets. At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of
$60,000 - $70,000
for the Chicago, IL market based on experience, qualifications, and location. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may include a discretionary bonus. We provide a full range of benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Account, Life Insurance, Disability, Paid Time Off (Sick Leave, Parental Leave, Vacation), Holidays, and 401(k), in addition to other perks. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
