Leads Engineering Quality across multiple projects with a team of up to five. Sets clear expectations, coaches the team, verifies that projects follow processes and meet company, contract, and code requirements. Creates, plans, and runs project assessments, tracks issues to closure, and drives measurable improvements within the district. Role spans Quality Manager 1 and 2 responsibilities, with scope increasing by level. Responsibilities

Quality Management System (QMS) ownership: Stand up the QMS on projects; compliant with company, owner, and NRC/DOE requirements. Build Quality Plans. Assurance and Compliance: Plan and lead assessments. Trend nonconformances, lead root cause analysis, and track corrective actions to closure. Design Deliverable Quality: Monitor high-risk deliverables. Change and Document Control: Review revision control for design changes, deviations, and RFIs. Ensure Configuration Management is followed. Cross-Company Collaboration: Partner with estimating, procurement, construction, and warranty. Risk Management: Facilitate risk identification and tracking. Metrics and Reporting: Assist with building PowerBI; roll up project and district reporting. District Audits: Assist the Nuclear District Quality team in the annual ASME NQA-1 audit. Qualifications

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field (Nuclear and Mechanical preferred). 5+ years of project engineering experience. Professional Engineering (PE) License preferred. Strong engineering or technical background related to assigned responsibilities. Familiarity with ASME NQA-1 is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Effective communication (written and verbal), ability to build relationships across organizational levels, strong attention to detail and problem-solving, excellent organizational and time management, ability to aggregate data across multiple datasets to analyze trends, strategic thinking and initiative to drive improvements aligned with business objectives. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Relevant quality certifications preferred (ASQ QA Auditor, ASQ Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence, Six Sigma Green Belt, etc.). Experience as an auditor/lead auditor under an NQA-1 Qualified Program is preferred. Other Requirements

Perform work safely and follow oral and written instructions, warning signs, equipment use, and policies. Work during normal operating hours; overtime and weekend work as required. Base Compensation: $150,000/yr - $157,000/yr. Actual compensation varies by education, experience, skillset, and location.
