Electrical Engineer $120 - 150,000 +bonus and relocation package if applicable We are working with a global geothermal power producer, who are looking to strengthen their team in Reno with an Electrical Engineer to provide technical support, design, and project engineering for geothermal power plants - and experience with geothermal plants specifically is not essential. Key Responsibilities include: Developing scope, design, and budgets for projects. Perform power system studies (including arc flash). Prepare/review equipment specs and vendor information. Develop and review maintenance/testing procedures. Support outages, equipment failures, and root cause investigations. Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and NERC standards. Coordinate with plant management and enforce safety procedures. Requirements BS Electrical Engineering, or similar degree (PE a plus). 5+ years in power generation, utility, mining, or heavy industry. Experience with LV/MV design, protection, relays, motors, substations. Proficiency in ETAP and AutoCAD. Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills. Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, NERC standards. Must hold valid driver’s license; ability to travel and work in plant environments. Seniority level
