About the Role
We’re hiring a
Field Service Technician
in
Chicago, IL
to support ATM hardware maintenance and repair. This hands-on role involves diagnosing issues, replacing components, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely service delivery. Key Responsibilities
Perform minor maintenance and repairs at the module level Diagnose ATM issues using error logs and service call details Maintain accurate inventory and service records Ensure security protocols are followed at financial institutions Complete NCR-specific training and certifications Provide timely updates and reports on service calls Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent Basic electrical/mechanical aptitude Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Flexible availability: nights, weekends, on-call, and overtime Reliable transportation and smartphone (Android/iPhone) Basic tools required (e.g., #1/#2 flathead and Phillips screwdrivers) Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with NCR or similar ATM equipment Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and travel Daily dispatch or scheduled service calls This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, values independence, and is looking to grow in the field service domain. Regards
