We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Senior Energy Engineer. You will support the development and delivery of energy efficiency programs by providing engineering calculations, building energy simulations, measurement and verification, and utility program technical design and assistance. You will lead the design and development of technical strategies, conduct analyses to inform and recommend energy savings, and develop plans and reports that contribute to the success of client programs. You will write and review technical documents, publications, and conduct quality reviews of content. You will provide general project oversight, quality control/assurance, and keep customers and project teams informed of updates and necessary adjustments. You will also support business development efforts and proactively seek new project opportunities. Responsibilities

Calculate energy savings for projects in our programs using standard engineering principles including physics, mechanics, fan laws, thermodynamics, algebra, and statistics. Lead important and complex technical work in our programs, independently and with minimal technical supervision. This includes identifying, leading, and qualifying custom/measurement and verification (M&V) projects beyond deemed savings. Oversee the development of calculators and measure configurations within the central database. Perform ASHRAE Level II audits unassisted at large commercial and industrial facilities; author IPMVP-compliant plans and reports. Establish and act as a trusted technical advisor to multiple large-scale programs; provide technical guidance and training to program teams related to subject matter expertise (especially custom/M&V projects). Subject matter expert in at least two significant technical areas; author work papers for new energy efficiency measures with technical oversight. Oversee technical feedback related to filings, utility commission documents, and program evaluations; provide formal recommendations to program staff. Develop project scopes with oversight from engineering management; work with clients and evaluators on project-specific issues. Qualifications

4+ years of experience, including the ability to conduct ASHRAE Level II audits unassisted. BS Engineering degree. Compensation and Benefits

Target Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 Compensation Range: $74,000 - $111,000 Currency: USD Type: Salary Sponsorship is not available for this position at this time.
