Director of Engineering
to lead its Engineering team. In this role, you’ll ensure the property remains in peak condition—overseeing daily repairs, preventative maintenance, and long-term projects across 746 guest rooms, a luxury spa and salon, two championship golf courses, a ski hill, multiple dining venues, and more. You’ll guide a skilled team, ensure compliance and safety standards, and continually improve operations to create the seamless guest experiences that set this resort apart. Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of engineers, painters, carpenters, and administrative staff Oversee daily operations, scheduling, payroll, and performance management Maintain facilities, infrastructure, and equipment—including HVAC, pools, kitchens, electrical, and plumbing systems Manage capital projects, preventative maintenance programs, and the Waste Water Treatment Plant Collaborate with resort leadership to ensure exceptional service and minimal downtime Build strong communication with guests, contractors, vendors, and executives What We’re Looking For
Proven leadership in facilities, maintenance, or engineering management within a resort, hotel, or similar environment Strong technical knowledge across building systems, equipment, and life safety standards (OSHA, MSDS, LockOut/TagOut, etc.) Ability to interpret blueprints, budgets, and procedural manuals Skilled in troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance strategies Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Birchstreet, HotSOS, and building management systems (Metasys BMS a plus) Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Perks & Benefits
