The Position We’re seeking a
Manager, Financial Reporting
to join our team. Reporting to the Director, Financial Reporting and Consolidations, this individual will play a key role in preparing and delivering both internal and external financial reports for communication to our Shareholders, Lender Group, Professional Sports Leagues (NBA, MLB, NHL), and team partners, along with other ad hoc reporting required under our legal and contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will bring a transformational mindset to help design and standardize our reporting processes, creating consistent templates, efficient workflows, and cohesive messaging for all users across the organization. This is a hybrid role based in NYC or Southport, CT. The Game Plan (What you will do) Support the quarterly close and reporting process, including preparation of financial statements and packages for the Board, Shareholders, and Lenders. Own the internal monthly financial reporting package, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and clarity of results. Provide technical accounting updates and training to the finance team and other corporate functions. Support the development, maintenance, and implementation of the Company’s global accounting policies in accordance with the latest U.S. GAAP guidance, including training on updates. Identify and drive efficiencies, automation, and standardization in the reporting process to create a best-in-class reporting environment. Execute and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes–Oxley (SOX) requirements, including review of financial statements, footnote tie-outs, cash flow statements, and fluctuation analyses. Coordinate the year-end audit and quarterly review processes with external auditors. Partner with audit teams on technical accounting and reporting matters, ensuring timely resolution of issues and clear communication. The Stats (What to bring) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA preferred. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including exposure to financial reporting and SEC reporting; public company or Big Four background strongly preferred. Proven ability to build and lead cross-functional relationships, particularly with audit partners and senior management. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through on multiple concurrent priorities. Strong knowledge of general ledger and reporting systems; experience with system implementations is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; strong analytical and presentation skills. The base compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $125,000.
