We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Structural EIT to join our Lakewood, CO Office in the Denver Metro Area. Base pay range:
$80,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr With over 138 years of experience, H&H is a trusted full-service infrastructure engineering firm. Our clients rely on us for intricate and innovative engineering solutions. We manage the entire life cycle of a project, from study and planning through design and construction. With over 600 employees across 30 offices, we handle assignments of all sizes, types, and delivery methods.
Responsibilities
Perform structural design and analysis tasks for projects, including bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects under the oversight of a senior engineer
Prepare contract documents for bridge design projects, including design calculations, developments of plans, specifications, quantities, and estimates, and submittal of reviews during construction
Prepare detailed plans for assigned bridge engineering tasks
Occasional field site visits
Qualifications
BS in Civil Engineering required, MS in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred
EIT Certification preferred
One to four years of experience
MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience preferred
Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Code Requirements; familiarity with local market design and detail requirements preferred
Experience in conceptual, preliminary, and final design and plan production of bridge projects following Federal, State, and local standards; in particular, FHWA-FL, NPS, CDOT, CCD, and Colorado Springs. Experience in CA, WA, or OR considered a plus
Familiarity with Structural Engineering and Analysis software
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in cooperative, team environments
