Overview
As Manufacturing Maintenance Manager , you’ll be responsible for overseeing the upkeep, reliability, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing and distribution facilities. You’ll lead a skilled team, manage preventive and reactive maintenance programs, and ensure our equipment and infrastructure support high-volume production and seamless logistics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment and understands the pace and flexibility required in a startup-minded culture. Responsibilities
Lead and develop the maintenance team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous learning Design and implement preventive maintenance schedules for machinery, HVAC, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures quickly to minimize downtime Collaborate with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to support production goals Manage vendor relationships and oversee external contractors for specialized repairs and upgrades Monitor and report on KPIs related to equipment uptime, maintenance costs, and safety compliance Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles and root cause analysis Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards Support capital projects, including equipment installation and facility expansions Qualifications
Proven experience managing maintenance in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems Experience working in a startup or high-growth company—comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change Excellent leadership and team-building skills Hands-on problem solver with a proactive mindset Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance tracking tools Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills
