The Engine Manufacturing team delivers high-performance engines and advances manufacturing systems to improve cost, quality, and lead time. You’ll influence hardware iterations and work with engineers to make critical decisions for the Aeon R program, while preparing for flight engine production for Terran R. About the Role

Oversee end-to-end manufacturing for the development and production of Combustion Device hardware for Aeon-R and Vacuum Engine programs. Develop and implement initial manufacturing processes, drive improvements for rapid production ramp, and ensure scalability. Collaborate with stakeholders within Manufacturing (machine shop, additive) and with external groups (Supply Chain, Propulsion Design) to optimize manufacturability and scale of hardware. Ensure delivery of engines to meet program targets and drive continuous improvement, new product development, and strategy for Combustion Device manufacturing at Relativity. About You

Bachelor of Science in aerospace, mechanical, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience building and testing hardware in a manufacturing environment. Extensive experience authoring work instructions and/or process procedures to manufacture complex assemblies. Experience interfacing with design engineering, manufacturing, and production personnel in a production environment. Experience owning, managing, and executing projects in a fast-paced environment. Ability to understand and advocate for Design for Manufacturing principles. Nice to have

7+ years of experience building and testing hardware in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Combustion Device Design or Manufacturing. Experience in scaling from development to high-rate production. Compensation and Benefits
