In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Function in a technical specialist capacity. Under general supervision, perform all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis. Broaden knowledge and skill set in area of discipline. May start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and/or functional areas. Develop Electrical design for water/wastewater projects Develop a variety of complex engineering deliverables including one-line diagrams, schematics, power and lighting plans, electrical installation details, and technical specifications Coordinate with regional and global design teams Continuous learning and development of technical expertise/specialty area Do project studies – Energy Optimization, Power System Coordination and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, and Electrical Reliability Analysis Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues Location:

As part of BV Operations, your skills will support projects across Governments & Environment, Energy & Process Industries, and Connectivity & Commercial sectors. You will work on projects ranging from small community improvements to mega projects, contributing to infrastructure growth while pursuing your own development. Responsibilities

Continues to learn and stay current on departmental design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes and BV policies. Apply to assigned tasks as appropriate. Develops knowledge and can independently apply it. Complies with BV quality program and supports continuous improvement and change management efforts. Prepares a variety of increasingly complex engineering deliverables. Performs research and develops recommendations for equipment/material selection. Manages data for engineering work and prepares calculations following standard methods. Adheres to budget, schedule, and quality requirements. Mentors entry level professionals as skills develop. Assigns tasks to entry level professionals and interns. Coordinates with project leadership and other team members on less complex projects. Interacts with other disciplines as needed. Understands external client interests and drivers through regular communication; supports internal clients and project leadership. May assist with business development or pursuit activities. Shares current knowledge of latest technology and processes. Assists with performance management processes, recognition, and corrective actions as needed. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program 3+ years in electrical design, planning and construction services within the Water/Wastewater industry Consulting and Water/Wastewater experience Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification, and in pursuit of Professional Engineer (PE) License Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program and a minimum of 1 year related work experience. Pre-employment onboarding requirements may include background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, as applicable by law. Benefits & Work Environment
