Overview
Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) Engineer role onsite in Scottsdale, AZ. Pay Estimated: $40-$50/Hour. This position is with Moseley Technical Services, a leader in global defense integrating advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield. Responsibilities
Participate in requirements analysis, functional analysis, performance analysis (e.g., timing, power), design of test setups/approaches, integration and verification of test equipment/setups. Develop Test Cases, Test Procedures, Test Scripts (Python, Bash, C), and associated test documentation (plans and reports) for formal test and verification activities. Support setting up test infrastructures and environments for performing various testing (and use of Git/GitLab). Assist with acquiring and setting up test assets, including identifying BOMs, working with material planners to procure materials/equipment, and coordinating with Manufacturing/Operations to build, checkout, and setup test assets and equipment. Prepare for and conduct formal test events including Design Verification Testing (DVT), Qualification Testing (QT), Acceptance Testing (AT), EMI/EMC Testing, Radiation Testing, and other formal test events. Provide status inputs related to SEIT tasking from the team backlogs. Work within the Systems Engineering Integration and Test group with limited contact with other engineering and manufacturing groups. Address problems of medium complexity under supervision from a SEIT Lead and receive peer reviews from other SEIT team members. Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law. Active Department of Defense Secret clearance required at time of hire. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience (Or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience). Proficient in object-oriented programming, scripting, and test system processes. Experience with tools such as Git/GitLab and test automation environments. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with test case development, test script creation, and formal test documentation. Hands-on experience in setup and execution of DVT, QT, AT, EMI/EMC, or Radiation Testing. Familiarity with Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) methodologies. Ability to manage medium-complexity test programs with peer and lead oversight.
