Burgess & Niple . We are seeking motivated individuals to assist with bridge inspection and assessment projects across the country, primarily in the Pacific Northwest. This is a full-time, entry-level position with opportunities for growth and travel. Responsibilities include: Assisting with in-service bridge inspections and assessments with a team of professionals. Using rope-access, mechanical means, and other methods to evaluate bridge structures. Documenting and reporting bridge conditions in compliance with NBIS and SNBI standards. Preparing reports, analyzing load ratings, and collaborating with DOTs, counties, and municipalities. Creating drawings using MicroStation or AutoCAD. Performing limited design calculations and load ratings. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or on track to graduate by Spring 2026. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) registration required or ability to obtain before start date. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, or MicroStation; experience with AASHTOWare BrM is a plus. Willingness to attend relevant training sessions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 30 lbs, work at heights over 100 feet, and travel up to 100 days/year.
