Lead and coordinate maintenance activities to support production, focusing on preventative and corrective maintenance, safety, and team development. Responsibilities

Oversees, plans and issues work orders to shift team members for equipment modifications and preventative and corrective maintenance. Coordinates repairs and maintenance with production and scheduling departments. Maintains an active presence on the floor, providing hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance of production equipment. Enforces plant rules, monitors attendance, and applies corrective action as necessary. Conducts safety inspections, examines tools/equipment, and facilitates safety training to prevent unsafe conditions or violations. Enforces safety and compliance items such as Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Hot Work/Permits, and LSQ. Prepares and submits purchase requisitions for materials, tools, equipment and replacement parts; interfaces with vendors as needed; may maintain spare parts inventory depending on location. Fosters a positive working environment and drives the Maintenance team to meet productivity targets and performance standards. Plans and coordinates installation and removal of plant equipment. Ensures Maintenance employees are trained in safety, quality and production; coordinates safety and technical training as needed. Serves as back-up to Maintenance Manager when unavailable. Performs other duties as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications

At least one year of experience leading/supervising in a manufacturing operation. Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Strong organizational and planning skills. Strong written/verbal communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Microsoft Office proficiency. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Salary and Benefits
