This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse site development projects, including healthcare, multifamily, commercial, industrial, educational facilities, and more.

Martin/Martin, Inc. is a civil, structural, and investigative consulting engineering firm, headquartered in the Denver area, built on experience and industry leadership cultivated since the 1940s. Our skilled structural engineering teams provide custom solutions for new constructions and expansions, with a strong record in notable projects like Coors Field. Our civil engineering teams focus on site and infrastructure design, currently leading projects such as the 16th Street Mall redesign in Denver. Lastly, our investigative engineers are pivotal in supporting ongoing projects by planning and implementing repairs, renovations, and improvements for buildings and sites. With nine office locations and a staff of 370, Martin/Martin engineers regularly perform work across the United States and internationally.

At Martin/Martin, you'll be part of a dynamic team where you can grow your skills and advance your career. You’ll work under the guidance of a Senior Engineer, managing and designing projects from concept through construction. You'll interact with owners, architects, contractors, and more, gaining valuable experience and exposure early in your career. Additionally, you'll have opportunities to participate in marketing activities.

In this role, you will

Project Design And Management

Utilize AutoCAD/Civil3D to design, detail, and coordinate small to medium-sized projects within budget and time constraints. Manage and mentor a team of civil engineers and CAD technicians.

Client And Team Interaction

Serve as the primary point-of-contact with clients, contractors, and other design disciplines. Attend project meetings during design and construction phases.

Quality Control And Administration

Provide quality control checks of work produced, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards. Support project construction administration, including shop drawing review, responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), and field observations.

Budget And Invoicing

Monitor project budgets and review/approve client invoices. Work overtime when necessary to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum. Registered PE license in the State of Colorado or ability to obtain one within 3 months. 5–8 years of progressive civil engineering experience.

Desired Qualifications

Min 4 years’ experience in site development, land development, or infrastructure. Min 1 years’ experience with PE license. Knowledge of or proficiency with Civil3D, StormCAD, FlowMaster, WaterCAD, AutoTurn. Shows strong interest in participating in company initiatives. Construction field experience. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
