Job Description Allied Universal Technology Services is hiring a Service Technician to perform service, maintenance, repair, and diagnostics on access control systems and IP-based video equipment, including electrified/non-electrified locks, card readers, IP/analog cameras, intercoms, video recorders, and wired/wireless systems.
Responsibilities
Travel to commercial client sites to service, identify, repair, troubleshoot, and detect access control equipment and IP-based video security systems, including but not limited to electrified/non-electrified locks, card readers, ancillary door devices, IP/analog cameras, head-end video recording devices, wired/wireless systems, and intercoms.
Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues to ensure compliance with company standards, building codes, and safety policies.
Execute, document, and track service-related issues through ServiceNow in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations.
Interpret electrical schematics, CAD drawings, and related documents for low-voltage applications.
Provide phone and remote diagnostic support with high levels of customer service to internal and external clients.
Collaborate with other internal teams and clients as required.
Qualifications (must have)
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience; clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months; no more than 1 accident in last 24 months; no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months); ability to safely operate a company-issued vehicle.
Minimum of two (2) years of field experience in the electronic security industry.
Possession of state-specific licensing or ability to obtain and hold license once hired.
Proficient computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems and applications.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to document and report information with all levels of the organization.
Ability to complete tasks independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
Available for scheduled on-call duties to respond to emergency service tickets/requests.
Strong troubleshooting, mechanical and electronics aptitude; ability to work with various hand and power tools.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working at various ladder heights.
Preferred Qualifications (nice to have)
Experience in the electronic security industry.
Experience with systems such as Software House, CCURE, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacq Vision, Axis, Bosch, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh, or ONSSI.
Benefits
Salary range: $30-$52 per hour.
Up to $5,000 signing bonus.

Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days.
