Medical Device Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced product manager to lead our cross-functional teams and drive the success of our most critical projects. Position Summary As a Medical Device Project Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our largest strategic clients, managing the scope, schedule, and budget of 3-6 complex projects concurrently. This is a highly collaborative role where you will be expected to roll up your sleeves and work directly with our R&D and technical teams, providing hands-on design support and technical expertise. Your ability to drive projects from initial concept through transfer to manufacturing, while maintaining impeccable documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities Lead Project Management:
Manage the scope, schedule, and budget for multiple, technically complex medical device projects, acting as the main point of contact for key customers. Drive Cross-functional Collaboration:
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, delegating responsibilities and establishing accountability to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Provide Technical Leadership:
Act as a technical resource, participating in design reviews, identifying potential risks, and proposing solutions to technical challenges. Ensure Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all projects adhere to the Product Development Process, with a focus on compliance with internal and customer Quality Management Systems (QMS) and the creation of comprehensive Design History Files. Manage Client Relationships:
Build and maintain excellent customer relationships through regular communication and project status updates. Support Business Development:
Collaborate with the business development team to evaluate new project opportunities and define realistic requirements for accurate proposals. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development of invasive medical devices (catheter-specific experience preferred). At least 1 year of project leadership or management experience. Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing technical teams. Strong understanding of design control and both FDA and ISO regulations. A go-getter attitude with a willingness to get hands-on and roll up your sleeves with the R&D team. Preferred Qualifications Background in a CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization) or similar fast-paced OEM environment. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
