Performs CT scan examinations in accordance with established protocols, procedures, and techniques. Participates in divisional rotation (Voorhees, Marlton) when employed by Virtua South. Position Responsibilities
Consistently performs high quality CT scan studies for patient populations according to protocols established by the radiologist. Applies knowledge of routine and non-routine CT exams to obtain high-quality images based on patient age, habitus, and disease process. Demonstrates thorough knowledge and utilization of CT scan equipment and related systems (RIS, PACS, Web Viewer, ADW workstation, etc.). Maintains thorough and accurate documentation; reviews and verifies physician orders and obtains pertinent medical information prior to procedures. Provides safe and effective IV contrast administration, prepares patients, and assists physicians during interventional CT procedures. Provides emergency on-call services where indicated and assists in training new CT technologists. Position Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year in CT preferred. Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Certification with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). N.J. DEP licensure required. Advanced ARRT certification in CT Scan preferred; if not CT certified, must take boards within one year of hire date. CPR certification required. Compensation & Benefits
