PCI Pharma Services . This entry-level position is responsible for supporting Microbiology Associates and Manufacturing Teams in the Quality Control (QC) group. The role includes performing Environmental Monitoring (EM) of critical utility systems in controlled cleanroom areas, collecting EM samples according to standard operating procedures, and adhering to cGMP and GDP regulations. Training on proper aseptic technique will be provided. Strict safety guidelines and aseptic behavior within cleanrooms and QC laboratories are required. Responsibilities

Collects environmental monitoring (EM) samples within the Drug Product manufacturing suites, Drug Substance cleanrooms, and outside warehouse facilities. Performs plate count enumeration, subculture streaking and Gram staining of bacterial and fungal isolate colonies. Responsible for sample submissions. POU sampling of critical utilities including water, steam, and compressed gases. Must complete area-specific gown training and exemplify aseptic cleanroom behavior. Maintains Micro lab area including routine cleaning of benches, biosafety cabinets, incubators, equipment, shelving and floors. Supports 6S initiatives in Micro lab area including material inventory and weekly lab audits. Performs data entry of EM results accurately into MODA software. Additional QC laboratory support as required by business needs (i.e., buffer prep, purchasing, etc.). Follow SOPs to perform work in compliance with cGMPs. Accountable for meeting training due dates to support daily operations. Regular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis (or in accordance with posted schedule). Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required. 0 – 2 years of relevant experience in a laboratory setting or quality control. Ability to perform job function in a highly accurate and reproducible manner. Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn EM data tracking software. The base hourly range for this position is $21.69 to $24.40 plus annual performance bonus eligibility. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including and not limited to specific and relevant experience, credentials, geography and subject matter expertise.
