As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and delivery of geotechnical projects. Responsibilities will include: Leading geotechnical investigations, field programs, and laboratory testing campaigns. Interpreting and analyzing geotechnical data to inform design and project recommendations. Delivering geotechnical designs for dams, foundations, mine waste facilities, excavations, impoundments, and other earthworks. Preparing and reviewing technical reports, drawings, and specifications. Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff, supporting their professional growth. Serving as a client liaison, fostering strong relationships, and contributing to business development efforts. Ensuring projects are delivered to the highest quality, safety, and efficiency standards. About You

The ideal candidate will bring: A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Geotechnical Engineering. 10+ years of experience in geotechnical design and construction, ideally within mining and tailings facilities. Professional Engineer (PE) registration. Proficiency with MS Office and geotechnical software such as GeoStudio or Rocscience; familiarity with FLAC, PLAXIS, gINT, or Civil 3D is highly desirable. A proven ability to manage projects, lead teams, and communicate complex technical information clearly. A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset and a passion for mentoring others. This position will involve both office-based and field-based work, with travel to project sites as required. Commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance is essential.
