Procuring blood samples from patients, preserving the integrity of specimens and ensuring proper transporting, processing and preparation of all samples. Providing clerical support such as answering telephone inquiries from other departments, disseminating laboratory reports, and communicating with referral laboratories utilized by the department. Qualifications

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience. Minimum Experience/Knowledge: At least two (2) years of experience as a Phlebotomist in a hospital setting preferred. Required License/Certification: Current CPT License; Current BCLS Certification from the American Heart Association. Compensation and Conditions

The hourly rate for this position is $25.73.
