Clinical Lab Scientist LOM - Microbiology Lab PT Day with weekend rotation
Responsibilities
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs routine testing in various areas of the laboratory.
Assumes responsibility for the accurate performance and documentation of test results, quality control, maintenance, test validation, and calibration procedures.
Works under the supervision of the Administrative Director and Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist.

Required
Qualifications:
Valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist License issued by the State of California Department of Health Services.
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
Customer service skills appropriate to the job.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Acute care hospital laboratory experience.
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.
