Overview
The Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor for the role of Attending Physician in the Division of Child Abuse Pediatrics. Responsibilities
Excellence in delivery of care, research, education, and advocacy as part of the Protective Service Team. The team evaluates approximately 500 children per year in inpatient and outpatient settings and participates in a unique outpatient clinic, the Forensic Assessment for Immigration Relief (FAIR) Clinic. The position includes clinical duties, teaching, and scholarly activity aligned with program needs. Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible in child abuse pediatrics. Outstanding clinical and teaching skills. Salary is commensurate with rank and experience. The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled. About the unit
The Protective Service Team comprises five child abuse pediatricians, one pediatrician with expertise in child abuse pediatrics, three child abuse pediatrics fellows, a research director, research coordinators/associates, administrative staff, and on-site social workers providing 24/7 consultation.
