Overview
Piedmont Eastside Medical Center – Emergency Dept is a 38-bed department that sees an average of 160 patients per day with varying acuities. We are a primary Stroke and STEMI receiving facility able to intervene and administer thrombolytics. The department includes Behavioral Health Pod and 5 patient care areas (PODs) based on acuity. There are on-site helicopter pads for utilization. We are looking for positive, self-motivated, engaged and growth-oriented individuals to join our team. All staff members must have a BLS certification to work in this unit. Schedule : 1pm–1am (Evening shift). Sign-on bonus available for eligible candidates. Responsibilities
The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients. Functions within the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. Maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care. Qualifications

Current Georgia RN or NLC/eNLC Multistate License; BLS certification required Additional Qualifications:
