We’re seeking an exceptional Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of our next-generation Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. Take ownership of the full lifecycle design of mechanical systems for LEO satellites from initial concept through to deployment. Lead CAD modeling and detailed design of satellite structures and components. Perform advanced simulations (including Finite Element Analysis and thermal analysis) to optimize performance and reliability. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electronics, propulsion, and manufacturing, to deliver integrated solutions. Champion innovation in the use of lightweight, high-strength materials and space-ready mechanical systems. Qualifications
Proven experience in mechanical design and analysis for spacecraft or launch vehicles. Expertise in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX) and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus). Demonstrated success in managing full lifecycle development of mechanical systems. In-depth knowledge of space-grade materials, thermal management, and structural dynamics. Able to guide teams, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate effectively across disciplines.
