Cardiac Sonographer
to join our team at the
Jennifer Moreno VA Medical Center . Work Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. All holidays are observed. Staff that works a six (6) hour, or longer, shift shall be entitled to an unpaid 30 minute meal break. 40 hours per week. Responsibilities
Provide cardiac sonography services in a hospital setting as part of the diagnostic imaging team. Perform echocardiograms and related cardiac ultrasound procedures according to standard procedures and protocols. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient care and accurate diagnostic results. Requirements
Minimum of two (2) years of full-time current work experience in a hospital setting. Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Sonography program. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential or equivalent (e.g., RCS) with ARDMS or CCI, and registration by ARDMS as a RDCS. Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook). Benefits
