This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive services within a K-12 school setting in Martinez, CA. This contract position runs through the normal school year and involves working with children across a broad age range to address speech and language disorders.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed evaluations of students with speech and language challenges Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs Provide direct therapy sessions focused on improving communication skills Track and document student progress meticulously to assess treatment outcomes Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including educators and other specialists, to coordinate student care Involve and educate families, promoting engagement in therapy goals and strategies
Qualifications
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in California Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations strongly favored Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Candidates must have an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology and must hold or obtain a Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
This role offers the support of an experienced advisory team of SLPs located within the state, along with professional resources to foster career growth.
