Overview Supervisor Nursing - CICU - Full Time Night

The Supervisor of Nursing - CICU is a full-time position that will work night shifts. The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) is a 27-bed cardiac and medical critical care unit. We specialize in pre- and post-operative cardiac care, cardiomyopathy patients requiring mechanical circulatory support, as well as heart failure and post-MI cardiology patients, IABP, Swan-Ganz, CRRT, TTM, DKA, Pacemakers, Severe Sepsis, and Respiratory Failure.

Under the direction of the nurse manager, Director, or Executive Director, the Charge Nurse/Nursing Supervisor provides an optimal environment and assists in overseeing and directing unit activities and personnel to ensure high quality patient care. Plans, organizes, controls and coordinates the department activities to ensure high quality patient care and efficient, cost-effective service. Adheres to the ANA Nursing Administration: Scope and Standards of Practice.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

California Registered Nurse License (upon hire)

American Heart Association BLS (upon hire)

One professional certification in related area (upon hire)

2 years of recent clinical experience in the specialty area

Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience

Preferred:

Master's Degree in Nursing

Leadership experience

Pay Range: $67.93 - $107.26

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
