Overview

The Human Resources Operations Specialist is responsible for delivering comprehensive HR operational support across key areas including compensation, payroll, benefits, HR systems and leave of absence management, with a focus on data analysis and reporting to optimize HR processes. Responsibilities

Support the end-to-end leave of absence process, including FMLA, ADA, short-term disability, long-term disability, and other company-specific leaves, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations as well as company policy. Conduct data analysis and generate reports on HR metrics, identifying trends and recommending solutions to improve HR operations. Administer various HR programs and policies related to compensation, payroll, and benefits, serving as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries. Support HR system maintenance and data integrity efforts (ADP Workforce Now). Support the Payroll Specialist in processing and auditing payroll inputs, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Develop and maintain HR operations documentation, including process guides and employee resources. Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and company policies. Perform other related duties as requested and special projects as assigned. Requirements

3-5 years of progressive experience in HR operations, with a strong emphasis on data analysis and reporting, service delivery and leave of absence management. Ability to perform in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret data and present findings. Experience in supporting complex leave of absence cases, including FMLA, ADA, and state-specific leave laws. Solid understanding of HR operations, including compensation, payroll, and benefits administration. Proficiency in HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now, preferred but not required). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation). Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to multitask and pivot quickly between tasks in a fast-paced environment. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
