The Procedural Specialist promotes BD products to customers through clinical support and education within a defined geographic area, as directed by the Regional Manager.

Essential / Key Job Responsibilities

Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and staff on BDPI products through case support, in-servicing, and training programs.

Establish and maintain relationships with customers, hospitals, and physicians.

Obtain new users and applications for company products and services.

Observe and report market trends affecting BDPI sales, service, and product development.

Represent BDPI in accordance with policies and procedures.

Process customer complaints and returns following established procedures.

Maintain company automobile and property.

Complete and process reports including procedural, expense, product tracking, and complaint reports.

Support endovascular procedures and fulfill duties of a Territory Manager as directed.

Required Qualifications

Product knowledge, features, and benefits of BDPI products. Surgical and endovascular procedure knowledge, basic anatomy, medical and surgical terminology.

Preferred Qualifications

3-5 years experience in OR, Interventional Radiology, or Cardiac Cath Lab.

Current credentialing and certification in clinical discipline.

Knowledge of vascular access, surgery, and endovascular medicine preferred.

Strong time management, self-motivation, and ability to manage priorities with minimal supervision.

Frequent travel required.

Education and Experience

Associate’s degree or B.S. in Nursing, Cardiovascular, Radiology, Vascular Surgery, or related field preferred.
